NHL Finals (Game 5) 8:00pm EST: Hard to believe it has come to this! Personally, I have a Canucks futures to lift the Cup that I took at +300 before Game 1 of the First Round match-up with the Defending Stanley Cup Champions. The past 2 games in Boston, the Vancouver Canucks, have looked really inefficient offensively and defensively, and have started to play some dirty hockey, with has led to a successful powerplay unit from the Boston Bruins this series. Roberto Luongo, who has allowed 12 goals in the past 2 games, and will be starting for the Canucks tonight, and has been completely outplayed throughout this series by Tim Thomas. Game 5 will be a tightly played game, and I believe this is the last chance the Canucks will have to get back into the series, which is remarkable considering they haven’t not been down at all in the entire playoffs. Only stat that goes against the Bruins, is that the Canucks have a 9-3 record at home during the playoffs, but are only 1-2 in Game 5s played at home in the playoffs. Will the Canucks regain control of the series with a win tonight to take 3-2 lead, or Will Boston be going back home with the opportunity to Win the Stanley Cup on home ice?
